Dylan is a Creative Coach at Classmate, where he has spent the past seven years partnering with teachers to design creative, student-centered learning experiences. His work focuses on helping educators turn ideas into classroom-ready projects that prioritize storytelling, play, and student voice. He has facilitated professional learning and workshops for educators for over a decade, supporting teachers as they bring ambitious, creative projects to life with students. Dylan regularly works side by side with teachers to design learning experiences that invite collaboration, creativity, experimentation, and meaningful participation. Outside the classroom, Dylan has been playing tabletop role-playing games for over a decade and has facilitated games for friends and other educators. He draws on these experiences to explore how play, storytelling, and shared authorship can support deeper learning. Dylan believes play is at the core of learning and that students thrive when they have safe spaces to explore ideas, take risks, and learn through experience.
