After a decade working in the trades, Joe hung up the hard hat and moved into education. As a shop teacher at an integrated arts and technology secondary school, Joe designs cross-curricular, project-based learning experiences rooted in learning through making. Drawing on industry experience, Joe helps learners build practical skills, solve real-world problems, and engage deeply with the design cycle through iterative craft, reflection, and feedback. Joe’s goal is to bring students and colleagues along for the ride—creating joyful, authentic learning that results in work worth sharing.
