About me
Keely Flannigan - I currently hold the role of Teacher-Librarian at Black Mountain Elementary School on the traditional lands of the syilx People, in a region now known as Kelowna. I am grateful and privileged to serve our community in ever-evolving ways. My hope is that every child feels seen and has opportunities to shine as their authentic self in our Library Learning Commons and beyond. The children serve as my most significant teachers in whatever learning we are embarking on, and you will always hear and see their voices in our learning as adults. I also feel deep gratitude for the land and community who hold my husband and I as we raise our curious, confident, and empathetic daughter on these shared lands.
